I agree.
man, just too sad and too realistic. I loved 'The Notebook' (NTTAWWT) but jesus...I was a wreck after watching it. I can't do it again. My wife watches it repeatedly. **** that. The Notebook Where the Red Fern Grows .....a few movies I can't watch.

I picked it up in the bargain bin, based on all the gushing critical reviews. I think I lasted about 15 or 20 minutes before I'd had enough. Yuck. Holy ****, why would anyone ever do that? Who would find it entertaining? And why would anybody make a movie about it? And what kind of asshole would recommend that movie to others?
