Disappointed in McCluster
Bla bla bla, he's a playmaker, he has two touchdowns already, whatever.

He has seven catches for 93 yards. 1/3 of that yardage came on one play. At least two of those are screen passes I believe.

That ****ing sucks.

This guy needs to be a threat as a WIDE RECEIVER. He hasnt made a single play down the field. I'm not even talking 20 yards. How about 10? How about coming off the line, putting your foot in the ground, getting open and giving Cassel a target?

I'm not willing to accept the idea that Cassel is so god awful he makes all our wide receivers look terrible.

McCluster hasn't done shit yet. And he was utter garbage in Indy.

Don't buy any of his ****ing t-shirts.

I am stoked to see what kind of touches he gets this year...

With all the talent around this team... Some swing passes, screens and or dump offs could end up being just nasty...

It would be cool to see him touch the ball 4-6 times a game, not including return duties.

really?

i'm thinking he gets lost with all the talent around him. With the addition of McClain,Breaston and Baldwin what purpose does he serve?

Breaston is a better slot receiver
Baldwin is a better receiver in general
Charles is a better 3rd down back
McClain is a better running back
Jones(w/fresher legs because of McClain) is a better running back

not to mention that i better our interior blocking will have more power and allow for more interior running with leaves DMC out even more.

Arenas is a better returner
Breaston is a better returner(although i don't want him doing it)

So what exactly does Dexter McSmurf do on the football field that we don't already have a better player? (terrible wording but whatever)

Do you want dexter taking carriers/RB receptions away from Charles?
Do you want dexter taking receptions away from Bowe/Baldwin/Breaston?
He sure as hell ain't taking runs up the middle from McClain/Jones

He's a gadget player that will return some kicks when Arenas is working too hard on defense.

ok, i'll shut up now and stop whining before i list another dam page worth of shit about WTF DMC is on this team instead of young NT/S/LB.

It'll force the Chiefs to think outside the box. Some unthought-of playcalls, and some unthought-of packages, some unthought-of acquisitions.
