Bungie's Destiny Will be Revealed in 5 Days

Yesterday we brought to you the news that a reveal of Bungie's next project, Destiny, was being hinted at for this upcoming Monday, February 18 – an augmented-reality game on the studio's website seemed to be pointing toward that date. Well, we won't have to wait quite that long. It's now been announced that Destiny will be unveiled one day earlier than we thought, on this Sunday, February 17.
An official Facebook page went live today and made that announcement as its first order of business. A Twitter account for the game has also been activated as well.

Guys with more experience do the higher level raids/strikes, while us casuals that only have a few hours a week can do her mini-strikes to get some gear so we actually stand a chance in the 24+ content. Are you suggesting we shouldn't be allowed to play the higher level stuff because we didn't sit in front of a cave for 8 hours a day shooting?

Once you get the helmet, and the chest piece, that's it. There is no other use to playing it.

I've done it, I'll do it with my hunter though

Queens missions are pointless. Only reason I did them was for the shards

Based on everything I am reading here it sounds like the whole game is pointless once you beat the story.

Definitely not in for all this grinding. I need a purpose for playing. I do enjoy the game but I'm just not seeing the payoff right now.

The next patch looks like it's doing exactly what I wanted with engrams, strikes and the cryptarch.

Isn't enjoying the game purpose enough? I'd contend that you may be better off as a casual because you haven't done everything three thousand times and avoiding the nightly grind is never a bad thing when it comes to long-term enjoyment/sanity, at least not in my book. Play it at your own pace, don't feel like you have to be geared yesterday, do whatever you feel like doing whenever you feel like it. It's a game, not a job. As long as you're having fun...

I'm gonna go against popular opinion and say that I prefer most aspects of borderlands compared to this game. Level up system, drop system, game play, pretty much everything.

I got a purple engram there, but that is because the best part of the game happened. forces are moving against each other. Actually died. Those waves are a blast.
