Hey Niner douchebags...

The QB you kept is 1-2. The QB you traded is 3-0.

That is all.

Not a ****ing chance. Bowe is better than those 3 combined. And Kaep doesn't have JC to throw to. You conveniently left him out.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

This is not about Alex Smith for me. Even Alex Smith would of struggled, I still maintain he could HAVE won the Seattle game. Don't know about the other two.

Tougher schedule, tape on Kap, injuries. Its all apart of it.
Hey man. It is what it is at this point. I will say Vernon missing is uncharted water. That really, really, hurt us. Kap has no chemistry with McDonald.

Vernon hasn't missed a game in 6 years. Alex never had to deal with not having his most reliable pass-catcher, compound that with the fact that his replacement is a rookie. It's gonna be tough.

But again, it's early. Hopefully we can keep things together until our guys get back. If we still look like this at full strength, then it's time to panic.

You can put the Seahawks loss on Kaep...but not this game.
No excuses, man. Kaepernick had another bad game, his 2nd in a row. Quit with the Kaepexcuses. It is perform or shut up. Kaepernick said he has to play better. Leave the excuses alone.

I know how this ends -- with Kaepernick as an elite NFL QB. I can stomach it when he plays badly in his first few seasons. There will be growing pains and he is going through the growing pains of learning to put the team on his back, which he will eventually master.

This ends well, with Kaepernick as an elite NFL QB. We don't need to cover for him with excuses while he is developing.

I ecstatic to have him as the starting QB of my favorite team. When he is clutching his 2nd Lombardi, I won't even remember back to 2013 when he was struggling to make the jump to the next level.

Let it go, man. Just let it go.

summary of why each drive failed...
(only noting the sets of plays that lead to a punt/turnover)

1st Q
- nice run Gore for 7 yds
- inc pass on 2nd (either inaccurate, ball was tipped, or Kyle W ran a slightly - different route than expected)
- stuffed run for Hunter... punt

- nice draw to Gore for 5 yds
- stuffed Gore run, 1 yd gain
- good evasion from Kaep as the RE spins inside on Staley for pressure.. throw was decent, but too strong... a little wobbly, and behind Kyle W at sideline. Still needs to be caught... punt

2nd Q

- Franky G run for 3 yds
- false start on 76.
- Kaep has Hunter as relief valve for the blitz.. looking his way, but pulls it down and tries to scramble around for room to run.. Gave up on the deeper routes too soon. He would have been better off continuing to run wide left, but instead cuts it back in. gains 5 yds.. now 3rd and 7
- pass needed to be coming out as soon as Patton made his cut. Instead the throw is a second late and thrown high and outside.. which allows the coverage behind QP to put the jarring hit on. punt

- Gore stuffed for 1 yd gain
- pass pro was there, throw to either 49er receiver (81 and 89) in area was wide and incomplete. VanceMac had steps on an out route vs LB, but Kaep never sees him. now 3rd and 10
- 5 man rush... Kaep has time, but can't find what he likes.. scrambles and then throws to an open Gore over the middle.. pass is off and Gore lunges but can't get hands under it before it hits ground. punt

end Half

3rd Q

- time in pocket.. good throw to VMac for 6 yds
- handoff Gore stuffed, no gain
- time in pocket, Kaep just won't let it go... scrambles runs forward but hesitated long enough to keep him from running for the first down. punt

- read option, and Kaep hesitated to get tackled 5 yds lost... should have handed it to Gore.
- Fake throw, handoff delay for minimal gain... 3rd and 13
- good pocket and quick slant throw to Boldin for 9 yds.. short of the first. punt

4th Q

- pocket was good.. Kaep passes up Boldin wide open over the middle to throw a strike to Celek on a seam route.. inaccurate and incomplete.
- quick-hitter RB screen to HUnter lined up wide... blocking and pursuit allowed minimal gain of 4...
- defense shows blitz but backs off... sent 4.. the LE spins inside of Boone, who was expecting help from Goodwin and didn't get it. Kaep hits back step, hesitates too long, and eats the sack. punt

- one read throw to the sidelines for Boldin, but uncatchable... pass pro was good
- good pocket.. looks like a nice deep pass here to Moore, but a tough catch that should have been made.
- The outside egdes give way here, and Kaep does right by stepping forward... still won't let the ball go though.. and runs left, but is quickly tackled and stripped of the ball.

* and obviously, whatever happens from this point on (3:51 left) is truly meaningless at this point.

Oh yeah, because Frank Gore, and Kendall hunter are dog shit in the run game. and Boldin is every bit as good as Bowe.....

Boldin catches everything covered or not. And we are talking about how they are with their current qbs.

no he wasn't. Despite changing systems in his second year, SOMETHING KAEP DIDNT DO, AND KAEP HAS FAR MORE WEAPONS, A BETTER DEFENSE AND A BETTER OLINE, alex smith jumped from 1-11 td to int ratio, to 16-16.

At least keep the shit realistic. All 49er fans were happy with the progress that Alex Smith made. Then Norv left at the VERY LAST MINUTE prior to the next season and that's when shit went to hell.

Yea but all you have to do is double Bouldin. Who else can beat you on that team? Who else do you fear?

16 TD's is $3it.

You compound that with 16 INT'S and it's even less impressive.

I'd call it HORRIBLE...

True. But dude was GASSED in the 1st quarter. It was almost like he blew his load on those big runs and then was just done.

Maybe they need to stick it his gut more, but I don't think he was very effective outside that first quarter.

So that might be how a $3it performance is justified but it's still total $3it.

Smith only got "Dilfered" once Harbaugh came on.

Oh, and **** him with 3 rusty razors.

Forever...

what about Kendall Hunter? The 49ers averaged 5 ypc. Clearly the Colts were taking away Boldin. Why stop running the ball after the td with hunter?

That's why Kap gets the blame from me. He is not getting better at making changes at the line. It was absolutely clear that the idea was to take away boldin, keep Kap in the pocket.

The 49ers were gashing the shit out of the colts on the ground.

So, being that I don't know what plays were called, it was either Kap, or Harbaugh, or Roman. Im less inclined to blame Roman.
