****OFFICIAL Royals@Spankees 7-10-13 GameThread****

THE QUEST FOR .500

I will be the sacrificial lamb. Wanksta Wade on the bump. I am in a great ****ing mood and and even better mood if Wade pitches Jim Johnson well and we win the series tonight.

ALSO if the Royals win tonight they achieve .500!!!!

That means, according to our lord and savior, and resident twitter CHODE we get to talk shit AND Jim Johnson get away with it. Jim Johnson.

7:05 EST

Wade "Jim Johnson" Davis (4-7, 5.42ERA)

v.

Ivan Nova (3-2, 4.09ERA)

Will be edited with lineups as soon as I see them.

Jim Johnson.

Royals lineup:
Spoiler!

Yankees lineup:

This is the right game for Kottaras in this series, short porch, RHP. I also feel like we'll see Salvy from the 7th on if the game is close, especially when Nova gets pulled.

All that said...he's gonna have to go deep tonight to make it a worthwhile move.

Technically, I can see why, because the Royals had the knack of trading away quality players (Beltran, Dye, Damon, etc) with nothing to show for it in return.

I'm tired of trading away good quality players for shit players in return. I rather much keep Perez and Hos than to trade them away.

Plus, with Hudler's acts in the announcing, it just got so old quickly, that I just had to mute the game in order to watch it.

I don't think anyone took offense to it, but 610 was talking about it the next morning and Keitz was still talking about it today. Media sensationalizing it.

"Ryan saved Rex by telling him 'no'. /Keitz this afternoon.

Hey, anything to get rid of Hudler, I'm good. Even if it's media sensationalizing it. Hudler's just awful.

He said nothing about trading Perez. He was just talking about how much more attention Perez would get in NY than he does in KC. He was right. Perez would be a household name if he played for the Yankees.
