You're right that the coaching certainly didn't help, but did you read the article I linked earlier in this thread (pg 5 I believe)?

No, he's not.

Five QB's is at least one too many. Reps would be too difficult to split up.

So, that indicates that they're either unhappy with Bray and/or Murray to the point of moving on, Smith's injury is much worse than initially indicated or they're planning to trade Daniel.

Daniel is the most experienced backup QB on their roster. He's won a game and should have won another had it not been for that crappy kicker. They agreed on a 3 year, $10 million dollar deal in 2013 and Daniel has certainly lived up to his end of the bargain. Had Daniel lost the San Diego game in spectacular fashion, I would think that five QB's would spell his doom. But he won and led them on five scoring drives.

So, they're either preparing for a trade and at this time of the year, it would be tampering for a team to negotiate for him, or it's one of the other scenarios.

One thing is almost certain: It does not appear that they're preparing to take a QB in any round this year.

**** the chiefs front office. 0 cap room 4 shitty qbs holes like swiss cheese and what do they do? sign a 5th shitty qb. heres something. why not get rid of your 4 shitty qbs and sign 3 decent ones to decent contracts and find a ****ing receiver or a qb who can reach said receiver. 15mm isnt enough incentive to get smith to throw to one. maybe they should hire a goalie chunt would jimp.

Oh come on. I doubt they go QB, but signing Pryor means absolutely nothing in that equation. They could easily want to just have the best group they can get going into the draft, and may have seen something in him they think they can develop. I sincerely doubt that a free agent signed in early January would have any impact on whether or not they select a player they are high on in the draft.

Six quarterbacks? If they had any interest in drafting a QB, why sign Pryor now?

Cause they can cut him (or someone else) if somebody better comes along.

Not that I know anything about Duron Carter, but Chad Johnson says nothing but nice things about everybody. Just read his twitter.
