Forgetting Sarah Marshall
I watched this last night (rented copy) and as much as I wanted to hate it I ended up liking it a lot. Now I want to buy the DVD. Here's the question:

There is an unrated collectors edition that is 229 minutes. The one I watched was 118 minutes (unrated). Which one do you recommend and why?

I'll preface this by saying I love Kevin Smith movies and I love Seth Rogan and pretty much every movie he's been in since 40 Year Old Virgin made him famous...

Just watched Zack and Miri...didn't like it. Didn't think it was funny...I mean, I didn't think it was awful or anything like that, it was just boring and I was counting down the minutes until it was over. Laughed once only because I was kind of shocked...(the frosting scene)...but yeah, won't recommend that one to friends and doubt I ever watch it again.

my post was a joke, really.

and I've kinda noticed something since kevin smith got married--it's said that the artist/director generally writes/directs about what's going on in his/her life... and while there weren't ever any rubber poop monsters in kevin's life, since he's gotten married/settled down, his movies are less stoner/dick/fart jokes and more romantic comedy--the old me (pre married, high school me) would've blanched at kevin's transformation--but since I've settled down as well, I can really appreciate the transition that's come obviously to his life to lead to the movies he's put out the last few year (I LOVED jersey girl, but a lot of people hated it--).

It's not high action, but it IS a different take on the issue of terrorism. It has enough twist to keep you watching, but it really is a morality play of sorts.
