True. But it also popped out to me as "wrong" immediately. Appliances shouldn't go directly adjacent unless we're talking about a tiny apartment kitchen. But if they like the plan and specified it, it shouldn't be a factor for anybody except the staunchest of kitchen designers. Design rules are meant to be broken why not in this case if you know you like the setup in advance?

Congrats.
Nice open kitchen. Double oven, pseudo-island. Most important room in the house.

Congratulations.
I just bought the place I'll be building my house probably next year. Getting this place bought is probably my powerball win or the closest thing to it. |

Looks awesome. Nothing beats living in something you created. Hand scraped floors?

Great looking place, TBG. I'm jealous.
I'm really jonesing for a new house right now. But in this market, it's not exactly condusive for selling an older home in a crap neighborhood. |

Nice floors.
Where'd you get 'em? Love the dark floor look with light cabinetry. Makes the floor pop. |

Didn't decide yet. The stock faucet the builder put in is good for right now. Will look into it more soon. Thanks Otter!

Lumber Liquidators. Hopefully I still love it after a year of constant cleaning, ha.

Yep. Thanks Hoover. It was a great feeling staying here last night. Plus, I got to finally sleep in the king bed I've had in storage for about 2 years.

I knew you were up in the air between the Shing Palace and Sufong Palace. Based on the look -- you made the right choice. Looks great. Glad you're happy with everything. |
