Nik Wallenda To Attempt To Tightrope Across Canyon Tonight 7PM CST On Discovery

Wallenda walked across Niagara Falls last year and tonight will attempt to walk across the Little Colorado Gorge in Arizona live on the Discovery channel at 7pm CST.

Countdown to the walk comes on at 5pm CST.

1500 ft high, taller than the Empire State Bldg. this time untethered, no safety net.

He wanted to walk across The Grand Canyon but he was not allowed to just like they refused Evel Knievel in the 70's.

Not hating on religion at all, but his whispered prayers and celebrity minister cheerleader on the Grand Canyon crossing was comedy gold. Never seen a guy try to cash in so hard on his faith. It was hilarious.

Chances are he's actually perfectly capable of catching himself on the wire. Highline slackliners do it all the time. It'd be dramatic, and I'm not saying it's the preferred outcome, but I bet the chances of survival are actually > 50%.
