I think it's going to be Davis Webb.

This article checks every box on Andy Reid's qb check list.

Did you ever think you'd see the Royals win a World Series in your lifetime back in 2008?

The Cubs were over 100 years in their drought, and they had at least made the playoffs a couple of times in the span of 30 years.

I've got a good feeling Watson or Mahomes will be there with a willing trade partner at 21-23. The compensation should be right about our comp 3rd.
I think we can get Watson at 27.

WTF does that have to do with anything?

I didn't make any bold ****ing prediction. The Chiefs' history suggests they don't take QBs in the first round. Until they do otherwise, he is not wrong.

They could do otherwise THIS year, but history does not support that wild ass guess.

He's saying the past is not precedent and predicting the future based on the past is ridiculous, especially since we have a different GM now, and that GM is known to have taken QBs early.

There isn't a person on this team from top to bottom that was here during Peterson's years as far as I know, not even the owner.

We have drafted 2 QB's in our history in the first round. One of them was from Clemson and wore #4. That number was retired in 1979, and brought out of retirement for Watson.

I'm pretty sure precedent is exactly what this is.

Words. They mean things.

Too lazy so I'll ask does anyone know what it would take to go from 27 to the 8-14 range?

We should realistically look at the 18-22 range. Titans and dolphins. Ravens are looking to move but that's a big jump to 16.

The precedent is Reid and Dorsey's drafting history, not the drafting history of a building where people have worked.
