I guarantee you that there are people who watch this show avidly. Decided to open up a thrift store or some shit and lost a lot of money, because of this show. This opens up the doors for those people to sue if they lost their money lol.

again, they hardly find unbelievable items. ITS RARE that any of them make any really really good money of their storage finds. Sometimes they bank in when they find coin collections and what not, but its not often.

and another thing I don't like. When they are going through the lockers and they are like "Oh that's $50, that's $350, etc, etc" and then they show the profits like they already sold that shit.
come on! I bet most of that shit doesnt sell for half of what they say they will get.

I also don't understand how the show puts stuff in the lockers and then actually has to buy them.

Dave Hester is on my list of people I'd like to punch in the face. Ideally while he's yelling "Yuuuup"

He's going to have a hard time proving damages, even if he is right. I have a friend who claims he has supplied them with a variety of film props/memorabilia in the past so the allegation that they "salt" the lockers would seem to be true. But it shouldn't be that surprising -- it would be prohibitively expensive to just "guess" each week if there would be anything worthwhile in the lockers and/or try to find "experts" who could provide any kind of real guidance AND would sign likeness release forms. On the budgets these shows run you just can't take that risk, which is why most reality shows are filled with contrived situations -- there may be film crews following their subjects around all day but they simply can't afford the possibility that they capture nothing of interest.
