It's possible. I mean, lets not pretend the Texans aren't capable of shitting the bed.

I said no. If the Texans hold him to around 100 (could be very likely) then AP's got a steep goal for Week 17.
Then again, I said a RB with that many miles wouldn't be the same after his injury. One of these days I'll learn to stop doubting Adrian Peterson. |

I said no (largely because of how tough thier last two games are), but I sure hope that I'm wrong. AP is one of my favorite players to watch, and it would be a blast to see him break that record.

the only reason I said yes is because the Vikings main focal point is going to be getting this record for AP and AP isn't going to take a single snap off...he's going to be 110% every time he touches the freaking ball...he'll get at least 125 today.

I understand I just think the Vikes realize the record this year will mean more to the fans than a playoff bid...sadly. And also, regarding the playoffs...the only way they are getting there anyways is if AP runs for two long TD's and 200 yards so I guess you're right...it goes hand in hand.

If he has around 175 today, then yes. But I really don't think he will.
