This is just my thinking, but if he was interested in Arizona, he wasn't going to be inteersted in another division rival.

I think Manning is a guy who has to also be around people he likes and knows, which is why Denver was the first visit.

Players like Manning and Elway have such ceserved confidence in their own abilities that the supporting cast is not as essential to them as we think it is. What I always remember though is this: Elway never won a Super Bowl until they got Terrell Davis. Humbling truth isn't it? It's a team sport.
