I understand, but if I'm Self, Mason is starting, unless there is evidence that the Duke game was an aberration.

I understand that Self values experience, and Self has earned a lot of trust, but it sure looked like Mason was performing better than Tharpe.

However Self might like his as more of a spark off the bench, a la Sherron as the backup to RussRobb.

RussRobb was far far better at that point than Tharpe is now, other than maybe 3 point shooting.

Anyway, someone is spreading a PM there that leads people to believe Cliff might be going to KU afterall.

Then there is this guy claiming he's from MN and has connections to Jones' coaches. He's either the best troll of all time or he's legit. He's saying he heard from said coaches earlier tonight that Tyus might be leaning KU.

Who ****ing knows, and TBH I'm not even that emotionally invested knowing we have Mason. I do LOVE the suspense, though.

Idk about y'all, but if Jones doesn't come to KU, that's ok. It took 2 games, but I've fell in love with Frank Mason. So poised, along with Selden. I know I'm reiterating some other poster's thoughts, but still. Self had enough confidence in him to play essentially the whole second half. He looks like a vet out there. Rock Chalk!
