Elway Locked IN

Drew Lock - QB - Player

According to the Denver Post's Mark Kiszla, the "worst kept secret at the Senior Bowl" was that Broncos GM John Elway is "smitten" with Missouri QB Drew Lock.
The Broncos pick at No. 10 overall, behind the also-quarterback-needy Giants (No. 6) and Jaguars (No. 7). Per the Denver Post's Ryan O'Halloran, Elway "barely left the quarterback group" during his three-day stay in Mobile. Lock is highly thought of from an upside standpoint, but he completed under 57 percent of his college throws and struggled against top competition. Incumbent Broncos starter Case Keenum lost a supporter when the team let Gary Kubiak out the door.

Fangio and Scangerllo at the helm. They're bringing in Gabaguchello as QB coach and Tagliatelle at WR coach. Bunch of geniouses.

The good news for the Broncos is they are bringing in a young, innovative offensive coordinator who, at the very least, can get the most out of the QBs. This is a big move by the Broncos as Fangio will be the HC and call the defensive plays during games while Scans will oversee the offense. The Broncos will draft a QB, the only question is "when?" in the draft. Will it be at #10, or will it be later? Whoever the that QB is, Scans will be tasked to develop him.

Based on Elway’s past success with drafting qb’s, I’m sure you’re very excited

Hell, trade a 2 for Rosen... move down 4-6 in Round 1, pick up a nice pick and go TE, OL... so many ways to go.

That would be a good move. I hope it doesn’t happen.

Elway passed on Rosen a year ago, so not sure what would be different that would make him like that idea today.
