Holy balls, we don't have a long snapper.

THOMAS GAFFORD IS A FREE AGENT

I REPEAT

THOMAS GAFFORD IS A FREE AGENT

THIS TEAM DOES NOT HAVE A LONG SNAPPER ON THE ROSTER FOR 2013

TELL CLARK HUNT TO SEND THE LONG SNAPPER SIGNAL

This thread is hereby dedicated to fill the gaping hole in Kansas City's roster at long snapper.

This needs to be addressed, ASAP.

I would do well you remind you guys that Gafford was the lockerroom's best cornholer, too.

Chiefs | Team bonds playing cornhole
Tue, 11 Oct 2011 20:10:12 -0700

Kansas City Chiefs quarterbacks coach Jim Zorn suggested playing "bags" or cornhole to build team comraderie after an 0-3 start. Since head coach Todd Haley gave the OK to play in the locker room, the team is 2-0. ST Thomas Gafford has been the best beanbag player, with SS Reshard Langford, SS Sabby Piscitelli and PK Ryan Succop also pretty good. "We've had a lot of fun playing it. It's good when we have free time between meetings," Succop said.

I agree. If we don't resign Gafford, I'm done. That's it for me. Lock this man up to a long term. Our team needs the locker room bonding of cornholing, and he's the best in the league. Morale is vital. I'm thinking somewhere along the lines of 6 years, 59 mill? 18 million guaranteed? His pick of house in Leawood?

Eh, I say just sign the guy who's here. As far as I can remember, every snap was right on the money. Plus he made a few tackles and likes to get in there.

Never understood why the center couldn't just snap the long ball and save the team a roster spot

Do you really want your starting center running down to cover punts several times a game?
