He may suck, but a lot of teams are going to pause at the notion of paying a guard $11m regardless of how good they are. It's one of the flaws of designating every oline position as the same when determining these numbers.
Conversely we've seen teams in the past try to take advantage of this flaw when determining franchise designation for LBers.

That 2013 draft is the perfect example that the good old "safe" OL pick is bullshit.
Warmack, Cooper, and Joeckel were all considered good safe picks, while Fisher was a guy with a lot of upside, but would need time to develop. |
