Why the Chiefs need Cowher...

No Super Bowl winning coach has ever won the Super Bowl again with a different team. We know this.

We also know the NFL is fixed.

There wouldn't be a bigger story line in the NFL next year than if the Chiefs, who haven't drafted a QB since Todd Blackledge, were to win the Super Bowl, making Cowher, who has been in the broadcast booth, the first coach to win it all with 2 different teams.

Make it happen, Roger!

Haley is nothing more than further evidence for why Pioli must be fired. I'm tired of seeing the names of each on a Chiefs board.

How ****ing awful was it that Scott Pioli brought in 2 super bowl winning coordinators. They should have let the head coach who called a fake punt on 4th and 12 on his own 28 call the plays! Or the guy who called fora Fullback pass to his QB when they were moving the ball in opponents territory.

You're an idiot if you believe the pats won a super bowl because of romeo and Weis and not because of Brady and bellichick. Those are two decent coordinators. I promise you lots of coordinators would hate working with Weis. And Romeo's defense is obsolete and not what Haley wanted.

This post makes zero sense.

If you think for one moment that Weis and RAC aren't great coordinators in the NFL, you're wrong as all ****. They are.

Haley was a ****ing joke as a HC, and he will be again if someone is foolish enough to give him another opportunity to fail.

I seriously don't understand it.

We gripe all day long about how no team can win without a franchise qb. Well... We had a shitty qb. And yet we found a way to be competitive with one of the worst qbs in the league. Hell.., we found a way to win or stay competitive in a few games with a shitty journeyman fourth string qb.

Romeo is coaching the same squad and they are a complete disaster. Actually with far better talent. I think that tells you that Haley was a better coach than he got credit for.

Romeo Crennel WAS a great coordinator, but he has not evolved.

His defense is outdated and useless against a pass happy league.

Part of the reason you get a team that loses so many games by double digits.

RAC's defense looked good enough the last two years to suggest to many that the Chiefs would be no worse than top 10 in total defense this year. This demonstrates to me that he's been pretty adept at lipsticking Pioli's pig.

As a DC, I still believe he's very astute. The game hasn't "passed him by," and he didn't suddenly become stupid with respect to defensive formations and responsibilities.

As a HC, however...

This team played a soft schedule in '10, and some of the worst QBs to ever don NFL uniforms in '11.

It was all a mirage.

Yet, we can still rate his decisions as a Head Coach independently. The offense was absolute shit other than the mirage of a season under Wies.

Romeos defenses obsolete. I love how this board flip flops so we can hate everybody. But you know what, they played tough football under Haley.

Weis is a smart oc. But he's on a power trip. Hes bounced around teams like a pinball.

I don't know what kind of coach Haley will be. But you can't have it both ways. Pioli was an egomaniacal douche bag who didn't give Haley what he asked for out of stubbornness and ****ed up big time at qb. Yet we fault Haley for not winning with what we've said over and over again is poor personnel and a shitty qb.

But by all means. Blame the head coach for not winning with one of the worst qbs in the league and incomplete personnel running on an obsolete scheme forced on the coach by an inflexible Gm.

Very well may be the case. Not going to argue that this cannot be a possibility.

They had a majority of the biggest blowouts in team/Arrowhead history under that goober. They weren't "tough" at all and haven't been in any year of the Pioli regime.

I don't give a **** what you think of this board. I've never flipped on shit; Haley was a complete ****ing idiot as a HC--there's plenty of evidence, independent of Pioli for this--and I'm confident that he will be if ever given the opportunity again.

Hell, look at Pitts. He's working with one of the best in the game, and Big Rape is bitching about play calls after last week's loss. Then we get the fake apology this week...

I don't believe that Haley's background allows him the chance to control the respect of the locker room, and this week's events are a small window into this facet. But, by all means, let's continue to absolve this worthless piece of shit of all blame.

Pioli! Cassel! Blah, blah, blah. Haley sucks shit, too.

How many blowouts would the packers have behind Matt cassel? This is a passing league. You don't think maybe we could have made some of those blowouts with not jus good qb play, but average qb play?

How many did the Pats have with him the year he started? He was a fraud, but they damn well did their best to mask it.
