Priest's run was so brief that I have a difficult time classifying it. He was very impressive at his best, though. Charles reminds me of Priest in some ways, but I can't put him over Beltran, the definition of a five-tool guy. I probably exaggerated a bit by saying there was a "huge" drop off, but I have Tony G and Beltran behind a velvet rope for the time being.

Gonzalez is the best to ever play that position. He completely changed the way tight ends were used.
To say he's good is a joke. He's exceptional.

wife and I aways said after he retired, we would make a plan to see him inducted *he'll be first ballot for sure*. Either before, or after, we're going to go to Cedar Point and ride some roller coasters.
So, as soon as she heard he was retiring, she was all about planning the trip lol

Gonzo is a first ballot HOFer. Beltran was a slightly better version of Amos Otis. A good enough player, but c'mon. Let me guess, your velvet rope only includes two rock bands: The Beatles and Foreigner? |

Was his contract up in ATL?
If so I would be trying to get him to suit up for KC for one more season to take a shot at a ring. If nothing else it would be great for Kelce to learn from the best evar. His skills are still top notch. If I were a player I would never hang em up with gas left in the tank. When its over you never get to play again ever. You have the rest of your life to be retitred. I would play till I just couldnt cut it anymore. Im sure i would regret it later in life if I left even one season on the table |
