I've never used it, but escrow.com is one of them.

Same thing happened to me in '03 with about $1600 in Packers tickets.

After involving the local police and the FBI, I finally found out the guy was a broker who claims to have had his entire ticket inventory stolen.

About 6 months later, I received a check in the mail for the exact amount from some unknown law office.

Hope you get your money back.

I've seen multiple listings on Ebay recently from a guy selling 1st row, 50 yard line seats........says in the listing to e-mail him and all 4 season tickets can be yours for $1000.

I'm sure plenty of people fell for that....the last one I saw there was a reply in the question/answer area from the actual ebay member who said she had no tickets for sale and that her account had been hacked into.......

Wonder if it's the same guy?

I used escrow.com when I bought rights to the 2 lower level seats I have. It worked great, no complaints. Great protection for both parties. Most legit sellers will agree to escrow if you agree to pay the fee. In my case the fee was under $40, well worth it.

I didn't end up buying the item, but a few years ago I was looking into making a purchase online and using escrow. For a $5000 transaction it was going to be a fee of $150 or so.
