IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT ROUND DUDE.
If we don't draft Geno Smith at #1, HE WILL BE GONE by the second round... along with Barkley and possibly Tyler Wilson. So we should give that up for another position we don't need? |

Taking Kaep at #1 would have been a MONSTER reach. Hindsight is 20/20. He was an intriguing prospect with alot of question marks...second round is a greart spot for him...and so far he's been fantastic. |

1. His deep ball (20+ yard) completion percentage isn't very good. 2. He did not throw from under center. Not even in 2010. 3. His system has always produced inflated stats. 4. Take away YAC and the average distance his throws traveled in the air is horribly low. 5. Worst 3rd down completion % between he, Barkley, Glennon and Wilson. 6. Even though he is athletic he doesn't like to run. 7. Pouting and throwing a fit in the K. State and Pinstripe bowl games when the offense struggled. 8. His arm is good, not great. I'd still take him at 1, but I don't think he's a great prospect.

Let's be honest here. While Dalton and Kaep are solid starters they aren't top shelf QB's which you typically only find in round 1. |

No, but if there was a draft who would you take?
Rodgers Brady ???- I personally would take Kaepernick but that is my personal opinion, I would understand maybe even top 7 so maybe 90% was a stretch. But again in my own opinion Kaep has the upside many QB's don't have. Such as arm strength and the ability to escape pressure and turn it up field with his 4.3/4 speed. I think Kaepernick is the complete package, but at the same time he still has much room for improvement. His future looks brighter than any other QB out there I think. 10 games and he was 1 play away from being a SB champ. Again he just has to work more on his short passes and he is currently doing that in Atlanta with a lot of other NFL players. |
