If my option is Alex Smith plus LT, I'd trade this year's and next year's #1 for Flacco without thinking twice.

He's is, definitively, a franchise QB. There are no questions about this.

Trent Green was a good QB in the Dick Vermeil system that he mastered. I don't know what to tell you guys.

I think Damon Huard could have been successful on that Rams team he went 16 TD's and 5 INT's with.

I'm not even trying to bash Trent Green. I loved Trent Green. He's one of my favorite Chiefs.

I think Alex Smith with Andy Reid could be a 4000 yard 25 TD 10 INT kind of guy. Doesn't really excite me but that would be my prediction for him in 2013 on the Chiefs if we resigned Albert, Bowe and added a playmaker or two for the offense.

Just my opinion. I could be wrong. I've been wrong before.

I do know that these guys:

Freeman, Stafford, Cutler, Palmer, Rivers, Schaub, Dalton and Flacco

wouldn't excite me either
