Things that annoy you about the general public

How about people who argue with a base level employee about a policy? The receptionist didn't make the policy. She can't let you in without an appointment. She isn't going to risk her job just because you're an idiot and can't follow the policy like everyone else, or because you think you're special and policies don't apply to you. Becoming irate is not going to increase your chances, either.

He started at University of Idaho this year and finally broke down and will wear a hoodie. On the Palouse, the wind in the winter can be brutal and cuts through you like a knife.

Dude, I've had to tell some of my peers (and even customers) to put away their phones or tablets.

I meet with high level execs for Fortune 100 companies all the time and the level of "interest" they show in actually communicating vs. their smart device is just astounding. I'm talking about guys that make 7-figure salaries, in some cases.

Maybe it bugs me because I'm cold blooded. I frequently wear shorts and a sweatshirt in the summer.

Also, when I was a kid, my dad was always telling me that the heat bill was too high so if I was cold, put on a sweater, so that kind of thinking is kind of ingrained. Of course, this is the same guy who now keeps his house uncomfortably warm in the winter because he will only wear short sleeve shirts.

My dog is also friendly (unless it is a big dog) but I have to have him on a leash because if I didn't he would take off chasing a rabbit and get lost. I drop-kicked a Jack Russell terrier that was walking unleashed along our street. I had my dog on a leash and the JR Terrier decided to come running at my dog. I picked up my dog but that didn't deter this JR Terrier. He was jumping up trying to bite my dog that was in my arms....and he wouldn't stop jumping. The kicking started when the dog almost got my arm. Not really aiming to I managed to catch him with a nice soccer style left foot to his nuts.

He didn't seem to feel the need or the ability to jump anymore.

I will say that I hate the way some parking lot areas are designed. You know, the ones with huge hedgings, medians and foliage that block your view from your spot at the stop sign, causing you to have to creep forward until your bumper is basically sitting in oncoming traffic just to be able to see.

Another thing that bothers me is the people that are unaware of the minute amount of common sense it takes to drive safely in parking lots. What I'm talking about specifically is the douchebags that come to the end of the lane they're in to a 3-way stop (so the lane they're driving in is ending where another lane is running perpendicular to them). There usually isn't a stop sign in this situation since it's a parking lot but there's the big white strip on the pavement letting you know you should stop and yield but people never ****ing understand that. I've nearly been sideswiped a million times by idiots like that..

Don't forget the asswipe who must use all fourty acres of the parking lots. They come shooting across empty slots shooting thru lanes with barely a look see. Then when they almost fraking T bone you they give you a look as though your the dumbass not doing it right.

On a separate note, lately I've been taking an interest in other people's carts while the family and I go grocery shopping. It makes me sick that the majority of people buy nothing but prepackaged items. Additionally, people purchasing fresh fruits and vegetables, especially green vegetables, seem to be in the serious minority. It drives me crazy...
