Madden 2005 -- funny stuff...
I decided to start a franchise in Madden with the Chiefs and instead of playing the games for the first (2004) season, I would sim them to mimic what has happened in real life.

Right now, I'm starting week 4 at 0-3 and here's a couple of gems.

Chris Bober and Jason Dunn are demanding playing time or a trade.

But these are the funniest:

I checked my Advisors screen and amongst other things, they're saying "The sports radio shows are ripping the team new one" and "We've got cap room. Now's not the time to be frugal."

A freaking video game is smart enough to figure it out, but the braintrust at 1 Arrowhead Drive isn't?

Not to speak for Parker but, I believe there is a little difference between them and the Playstation 2. So, I would assume the same when comparing to the PC. I tried those last settings that Parker posted on my PS2. Had to make a few small adjustments but, they are pretty good. Nice and challenging.

There is ABSOLUTELY a difference between how sliders perform on the XBox versus the PS2. I created mine on the XBox, so I can only speak for that system.

Mine will work as a starting point on PS2 or PC, but they'll definitely need tweaking.

EA will probably underrate Chris Horn and Samie Parker. I bet neither is as high as 70 ovr. Boerigter might be.

I guess I have no choice right now since my ps2 is ****ed up to go back to the nintendo 64 and play madden that way.

Madden 2002 that is. May not be as good but hey its better then nothin right.

God this sucks.

Haven't really played either that much, to be honest. I thought Madden was a big upgrade over 2004, but never actually completed a season (on the plus side, I actually played more actual games than I simmed). As for NCAA, I thought it was kind of a disappointment. I thought the upgrades were nice, but on the whole, maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it.
