If/when Alex Smith fails to be anything more than what he has been in the past (A competent game manager who can't WIN games for his team against elite comp., who can't take teams on deep playoff runs) in Kansas City, I hope the two of you are still around to take your medicine for the work you've done to inflate hopes. Now go away, troll.

And no one is remotely concerned about hearing your opinions. You are unwanted. An abortion thrown in to a trash can. GTFO.

it will be interesting to see if we start doing the small things better.
Will our QB finally actually include 'the fake' into the play action pass? Will our Oline and QB finally be able to identify, check and handle the blitz? Can Bowe and our QB know which routes are being run on every play? can our ST guys block somebody on a kick/punt return? Can we actually cover a tightend? Will our zone blitz defense use the zone blitz? inquiring minds want to know

Basically, all of you that are convinced that Alex will fail are only spitting in the eye of your HC and GM. So arrogant to believe that you know more and have studied more than Reid?
Well... oooookay then. People thought Harbaugh was an idiot for begging Alex to stay. How'd that turn out? A trip to the NFCCG and then a 6-2 record to help get us to the SB. Ooops, how wrong they were... |

Harbaugh didn't get the quarterback he really wanted (Peyton Manning). He then bought time for the quarterback he drafted to develop so he could replace Alex Smith. Also we were told the same things about Pioli & Matt Cassel. We were told not to question the "exec of the decade" How'd that work out for us?

Scott Pioli Dayton Moore Carl Peterson Allard Baird Pioli and Moore especially are great examples of highly touted guys coming in who have either completely failed on an epic level (Pioli) or shown significant inadequacies in judgment when it comes to individual players and roster management (Moore). John Dorsey and Andy Reid probably would have STILL gotten the benefit of the doubt from everyone if they hadn't immediately done the EXACT same thing Pioli did (and the EXACT same thing Chiefs leadership has been doing for 3 decades).

This. Also Andy Reid loses points with me because frankly Mike Vick was a turn over machine and did a bad job imo with the Eagles. That was a vet QB that was suppose to start being more efficient passing the ball. I don't see that Andy Reid is that much of a QB guru people are claiming he is. I like Andy Reid but I'm not "in like" with Andy Reid.

When I hear that Andy Reid is this fantastic quarterback guru and then watched how Mike Vick turned out then I don't see that Andy Reid is this magnificent quarterback guru. JMO. Mike Vick should have done better under Andy Reid. I don't blame Andy Reid for Vicks turnovers, but I'm not giving him credit for being a quarterback guru.

Alex was still a top 10 efficient QB the last 2 years, and that's really beyond debate. |
