Petro had a great exchange with a caller this morning who tried to support the possibility of an Anderson hire:

Caller: I'm not excited about Anderson, but there have been some coaches who have moved up from D-III and D-II and done well.

Petro: Who? Who are these coaches?

Caller: OK, maybe there aren't examples, and maybe Anderson won't be able to pull the 5-star guys, but I think he'll still do OK.

Petro: You don't get 5-star guys now. You're getting a 4-star, a 3-star, and a few 2-stars. The worry is that even this will go down.

Call done.

Have to hope that if Alden puts Anderson's name forward that the Board saves the former from himself and fires his ass on the spot.
