I predict that they'll find a way to renegotiate his contract and keep him here.

dorsey will walk. Bowe and Albert and Colquit will be the only players to re-sign with KC. |

Also, get real, guys. Gray, Powe, and Stanzi aren't going to get released before the first mini-camp. They're still on their rookie contracts. It makes precisely ZERO sense to cut them this early.
Wait to see how they adapt to the new coaches/system and if they can stick around on a 53 man roster. Cut them then if you have to. But unless you just flat-out KNOW a guy isn't going to stick, cutting players on their rookie contracts this early in the offseason makes zero sense. |

Any move like that, in my VERY simple mind of football, would telegraph a possible motive in the draft. The Chiefs hold the cards in this one, keep everyone under contract ON the team, and sign no one until the draft is done. Again, in my Very simple mind, it allows for more bargaining power on draft day if other teams have NO idea what direction we are going if, this staff is willing to listen to trade offers.... I want nothing more than to see Casshole, Jackson and others gone while retaining Bowe and Albert. I just think if the Chiefs made all those moves BEFORE the draft, they have less bargaining power...again, JMHO. |

all that shit goes down sometime in March way before the draft. so no, they cannot just sit on it, they will reveal their direction like every other team does prior to the draft based on FA moves |
