Looks like it didn't work out. And that's fine. He took his shot. Now it's just time for Clark to try again with a new GM. If he does that, I'll be satisfied that he's trying.

If he sticks with Scott, that will completely change my opinion.
Yep.

Clark hasn't run the Chiefs long enough for me to say that he's done a terrible job. His first order of business was to remove Peterson from power, which was a good move.

His second order of business was to hire the best GM available, which at the time, was Scott Pioli. Can't fault him for that.

Lets see what he does next.

Lots of people were fooled by that hire, me included. I think even Jason admitted he was fooled until Poili arrived and he saw first-hand what a Hitler wannabe he is.

Right. We were all fooled. It turns out he isn't any good. But that doesn't mean you can fault Clark any less. He got the #1 guy.

If Andrew Luck doesn't work out, does that mean the Colts mess it up? No. They got the consensus #1 best QB since Elway. They took their shot.

It's all about what Clark does now.

Shut the **** up, Dane.

Honestly.

You were all sunshine and daises around here, all the way through the first or second week of the season.

You were a full blown homer. You thought this was a playoff team.

Oh really? So, I wasn't right in 2009?

Just because I believed (and actually, still DO believe) that this team, flaws and all, has enough talent to win a playoff game means that my opinion of Pioli is invalidated?

Bullshit. I guess that means that YOUR opinion is invalidated since you were lapping up Pioli and everything he did from 2009-2011?

I supported the regime in 2009, and the first half of 2010.

Then I turned on them and haven't gone back.

But YOU were walking around here saying we were going to win a playoff game. Own it.

This is a good take, and I agree with it. But he's now on the clock to see how he addresses this.
