Really, really funny shit. Apparently Michael Cera from Arrested Development was originally cast, and then fired because of shit like this, bringing Seth Rogen (who looks perfect in this movie to me) on board.

Wow. That was intense.

Seth Rogan does seem to be a better casting choice, not even taking into consideration the on-set squabbles like the one posted. He's very funny in the trailers, anyway.

I think his first take on this clip was the best. Second ws still good, the third he was just fugging it up.

I've always thought this stuff was awesome. Then one day a big time director (he had won an Oscar) blew up at me over an insignificant prop in a scene that didn't even make it into our commercial.

He screamed at the top of his lungs and pounded on a table. "JUST ****ING PICK ONE!!! CAN SOMEBODY MAKE A ****ING DECISION!!!

I looked around the room and 40 crew were all just staring at the floor, in obscure corners, etc. nobody was making eye contact with anyone. You could hear a pin drop for a few seconds.

Weird.

Later he came over and apologized. I said, "It's okay. This is an emotional business. It means a lot to me that our commercial is so important to you that you'd feel so strongly about that prop." I was mostly-serious.
