What? No "Sons of Anarchy" Thread?

I had a late coaches meeting, recording the whole pilot episode on FX later.

And I agree about the kid, when they showed him eavesdropping my first thought was how awkward and shitty it's going to be when he uses his blank face and stilted monotone to deliver that information to someone. He's just a little kid doing the best he can so I don't want to criticize him too harshly, but if he's struggling that much maybe the writers should think twice about involving him in pivotal plot points.
I think y'all are right on the child, but I think they're trying to give the "SOA Cold Blooded" trait being passed on from Jax.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Abel somehow kills Gema.

He really is an awful little actor lol.

Thats one helluva theory, I just hope Sutter finally gets around to dropping the hammer, its like he's waiting for the final episode to bring it all together.

almost all kids are awful actors. Of course there is always the exception to the rule.

I actually like this season. At least nothing will compare to the shitfest that was season 3 and the Ireland plot. My god was that terrible.

True, but that little chunk of wood takes the cake.

the thing is all these episodes are an hour and 15 min to 1 hour and 30 min. I never seen anything like that before in TV. Kurt pretty much gets to do what the **** he wants and extend the time limit on his show. Thats unheard of on any tv. I mean rarely would you ahve a tv show run a little over the hour its given, but nothing like this before.

THey are just trying to cram everything into last season and this season. Some parts of the show are just meh ill give it that, but others is pretty good. The gang interaction and the tension and all that shit this show brings takes me back to my teens and early 20's that paranoia is real let me tell ya. lol

I do love the extended running time this year, you're right its pretty rare, not even Walking Dead gets hour and a half episodes... just wish Sutter would do more with it. Definitely agree about the interactions between all of the factions, its well written and about as real as it can be for tv IMO.

Way too many dumb plots mixed together. Makes for some really unbelievable shit and even with all this "shit" going on, not much is happening.

I'd been hearing how good this show is so the wife and I started watching on Amazon Prime videos. Just finished season 2. Good stuff. When I first saw it when it first aired in 2008 I thought it was a little over the top. But after giving it a second chance, I am definitely hooked.

I always thought that, too. And what's with those goofy looking fairing things?

I almost envy you.

Those first few seasons were the best, although S3 is debate-able, it still has one of the best finales of any show, ever.

I'd love to be able to experience them for the first time again. You're going to have some fun.

Jesus, I'm sick of this season.

Just end it already at this point. Too much nonsense - it doesn't make sense anymore but I bet that's what Sutter wants.
