Lollapalooza 2013
Anyone going to Lollapalooza this year? If so, how you feeling about it? This will be my 6th year in a row going and I am excited about a few bands (will be seeing NIN for the 7th time, QOTSA for the 2nd time, 21 Pilots is a real unique group, Kendrick Lamar, Grizzly Bear, The Cure, etc.) All in all though, I am feeling "meh" about it...I wish my impression(s) of the supporting bands was better, but hopefully am pleasantly surprised.

If you are not going, do any of you have any input/recommendations pertaining to any of the bands? Thanks in advance!

They put on a good show. Very straightforward and pretty uneventful, but they play the songs you know, play them well, and banter a bit.

A few years ago they toured with Pearl Jam & the singer would come out & do Cornell's part on Hunger Strike. It was pretty cool.

I downloaded some Baroness, Frightened Rabbit and Ghost B.C. as recommended. I think their all pretty solid! Thanks for the recommendations!
