So the options are:

Cut Flowers: Save 7.5M this year AND 7.5M next year. No extra draft pick.

Trade Flowers: Save 3.5M this year AND save 11M next year.... AND get probably a 3rd or 4th round pick for 2015.

Is that right?

Not completely sure but I don't think that the CHIEFS would get a comp pick for a player they cut.

This. And / or feature Flowers in the deal if possible... I KNOW that the Texans NEED a CB and the Chiefs NEED a WR...

Might be impossible because I don't know how the cap situation of both teams would be effected by trading payers who both have high cap numbers. I think the $$$$ get accelerated to the current year.
