Dante Stallworth dealt to the Eagles

News: The Eagles acquired WR Donte Stallworth from the Saints on Monday, sending veteran linebacker Mark Simoneau and a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2007 to the Saints. The trade is pending both players passing physicals with their new team. Stallworth, the 13th overall pick in the 2002 draft, had 70 receptions for 945 yards and seven touchdowns last season. "Donte is an explosive player who has had a very productive career with the Saints," Eagles QB Donovan McNabb said in a statement. "I've said many times earlier that I like the skill position players on our roster, but realize that you can never have enough playmakers."

Analysis: Stallworth had his best season last year and isn't the completely inconsistent receiver he was at this time last year. There will be growing pains, but once he gets the Philadelphia offense, he'll be reliable enough to come close to his 2005 numbers. Moreover, this helps Donovan McNabb tremendously since he'll have another weapon defenses must respect and account for. Stallworth is a better No. 2 Fantasy WR than he was in New Orleans. Consider him with a pick between Rounds 7 and 11.
