230 lb running backs with 4.3 speed from the sec don't last to the 5th rnd.

Looking back, it's clear to me that Dorsey and Reid want to improve the athleticism on the roster.
Fisher was the more athletic LT. Kelce is a freak athlete. Davis is a rare combination of size and speed. His burst through the hole is amazing. He accelerates the way a 170 pound RB would, but he's a house.

The dude had a bad broken ankle once and took a year off to heal. Last year he pulled a hammy early in the season and never got a chance to let it heal fully. If he is healthy, it's a great pick.

When he was healthy as sophomore, he average 6.5 yards per run. He is a home run hitter in a bruiser back body. Hell of a pick for the Chiefs.

If you looked at the roster before the draft, WR the players are at least servicable compared to other spots on the roster that they filled for depth.

I'm excited about the possibility of two-back sets. Old School, bitches.

Knile Davis hasn't been healthy since 2010, which is why everyone scratched their heads when they took him in the 3rd. Maybe they really wanted to make sure he didn't get away. Last edited by Beef Supreme; 04-29-2013 at 08:27 AM.. |
