Double Vision! (Running an Ad test)

You aren't drunk, there really are two ad banners at the bottom of the page now. I am running a test of two different ad systems.

Just giving you guys a heads up.

Why not both! Nothing as slick as a well tiled Mustang!

Oh shit. Maybe I will unblock it once a week and just spend an hour clicking. I never knew the site made money from that.

You know....we've rigged polls and voting on other websites. Should we have a let's see how much money CP can generate by add clicking in 24 hours?

I can not condone any artificial ad clicking due to Google's Terms of Service...

I don't think it says I have to discourage it though...

So, do I have to let the whole page load or can I just keep clicking and hitting back? I mean you can pay me to sit at home clicking ads for 8 hours a day. I could probably click at least 30 times a minute, 7.50 per minute comes out to 3800 a day.

I see you maybe working around the Terms of Service by posting this thread and then having members talk and then you informing the board how much money ads make.

Smooth ****ing move man. I'll be clicking later!

Ha, I think Google is smarter than that. In reality the ads are a mix of pay per click and pay per 1000 views. I have no clue which are which at any given time. On the ads that are pay per 1000 views, clicks don't directly give revenue but they do increase the likelihood of advertisers bidding higher for the ad space. (I think, to be honest they keep the specifics hazy on purpose)
