He wasn't afraid to kill off characters, either, which was surprising yet awesome. The action scenes were very well done and I liked the "look" of the film. No color drenching or washing. The conventional sets were cool, too. I think this spin off is in very good hands. |

Some new info on one of the sites. Sounds kinda hokey to me.

Well that sucks.
Anyone read the spoiler about the X-wing pilot being Han's kid and Luke has to "disarm" him, and that he's hiding his force-sensitivity, and that Luke deflects a shot from Han that kills Han at the end and so on?

I find this difficult to believe.
First off all, filming is complete, save for a few pickup shots. The idea of "not liking where it's heading" is ridiculous since it's done. Also, "Super Weapons" like the Death Star aren't what made the OT great. It was the characters, interaction and overall story arc. JJ Abrams know this and it's hard for me to believe such a fan of the OT would miss that entirely. |

Whoa, the guy refers to "George's reference to ambiguity"? Now I know it's fake becaise there isn't a shred of George's initial 7-9 storyline left.

Nice.
I bet she's part of the bounty hunter crew tasked with stealing the Death Star plans. Maybe not an actual bounty hunter, but maybe Leia tasks her with leading it. Also heard a rumor that Fassbender was going to play Boba Fett but probably bullshit.

But with Sabine Wren rumored to be a part, will the entire crew of Ghost be a part of the film as well? I think it would be pretty difficult to keep Fassbender's name under wraps but Aaron Paul's name has been tossed around quite a bit. A few weeks ago, Paul played Luke in a live reading of The Empire Strikes Back. |

Really great episode. They nailed Tarkin. A bit of a cliffhanger too. I won't spoil.

I'm really pissed off that wasn't filmed. I'd buy a copy just to see Hamill playing Obi-Wan and The Emperor. And Stephen Merchant as C-3P0, my god.

It's a major bummer but they can't film or do an audio record due to the rights, which would be a nightmare to clear. |
