Receiver-rich Bills trying to trade Parrish

Receiver-rich Bills trying to trade Parrish

Quote:
Terrell Owens‘ arrival in Buffalo could mean the departure of WR/KR Roscoe Parrish.
Parrish is being shopped by the Bills, who are deep in wide receivers and have cornerback Leodis McKelvin to handle return duties, according to a person close to the situation.
Buffalo is trying to gauge interest to see if it is worth trading Parrish, a four-year NFL veteran with 97 career receptions.
Parrish had 24 catches for 232 yards and one touchdown last season. He also had 21 punt returns for 322 yards and one touchdown.
– Steve Wyche
We still have a need for a return man....

What is he worth, a 4th or 5th?

He also has more fumbles than TD's.

He'd be a valuable player for our ST.
I don't see him figuring in as anything more than a slot guy offensively.
And we have a pretty good one there already.

So... Essentially we'd be trading a middle round pick for a guy who can only contribute to our Special Teams.

I'd rather invest that in April and find a guy who can do that any perhaps more on the offensive side of the ball, later.

And Jamaal Charles may be better returning kicks than Parrish. From what I can remember, Parrish had one or 2 good seasons and then became average.

Honestly, I'd really rather someone else handle return duties.
Charles should be "Weapon X" next year offensively.
This guy needs to be used in so many different ways.
I hope Haley realizes what he has in this kid.
I wanna see him become a big-time weapon offensively.
A Kevin Faulk type player.
