As opposed to the 3 games the refs already stole from us? Sorry, but I feel no pain for the other team...

No pain here. The refs gave the Panthers their first 7 points on that bull**** roughing the passer call. We lost many games because of bad calls, no sympathy at ALL.

Sorry, Phob, Hicks Hands to the face? On THIRD and long, as usual...How many times have we burned by that? Clemons roughing the passer?
Bottom line, instant replay sucks, Refs don't make calls WHEN the play ends. The officiating over the last two seasons has been horrible at best! |

Hell, even this crew was confused as to whether a down by contact call could be reviewed. Bunch of dumbass refs...

well what i thought was pretty fu@#ed up was that not one of those officials made the call one way or the other. they were just gonna stand there with their thumbs up their *** until the replay both wanted to look at it

Ok guys, help me out here. It sounds like, from what you all are saying, that the Chiefs won this game today, True? I work on Sundays and can't watch the games with Bishop. Occasionally I get a nice customer that will tell me the latest score, but not today.

Won by 1 point when Carolina missed a field goal and we subsequently retained possession on what probably was an Alexander fumble. (Though Bob Dole thought it was pretty clear that Dunn had possession of the ball before the pile happened...)

But I will give credit *cough* to Jimmy Raye, I thought we were just going to run the ball up the gut 3 times and have to punt it away and give them one more shot. That reverse call was a great call...

So what was the final score? It still doesn't sound like you guys are thrilled with the win. Sorry guys, I know you are all disappointed to be let down by your team.

Au contraire! I personally am thrilled with the win. Final score was 15-14, we outscored them 9-0 in the 4th quarter. People might be dissatisfied because they think Gun might have saved his job or that we won't improve our draft position, but I just want to finish the year strong and work towards next year...

IMO, we dominated the game, we just turned the ball over too damned much...

Da Wolf,
I agree, we did dominate the game. I'll even give kudos o Raye for getting in a better mix of run and pass today, keeping the Panthers' defense off balance most of the day. Without the turnovers, the Panthers would not have been in this game. the milkman overall, happy with the effort |
