[Previous Article] - [Next Article] Roddy Piper issued a statement on his official website RowdyRoddyPiper.com this afternoon:

Mr. Piper and his family would like to thank everyone for the overwhelming support of well wishes he has recieved world wide. Roddy has been diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer. He will begin his battle against this cancer immeadiatly.

The following is a statement from Mr. Piper;

“It seems like I have been fighting someone, something, someplace, in some manner, my whole life. But this fight, is one I am gonna win!”

I wonder if I have lymphona. I have had swollen tonsils since 1999. Over the years I have told countless doctors this but they dont believe me and tell me its the common cold/sore throat. Bloodtests dont show anything wrong, I never have a temperature, and I rarely get sick.

On the left side of my neck I feel a lump that isnt on the right side and the doctor I seen last said it was a "calcium deposit" and not to worry anything about it.

Theres also another lump on the back of my neck.

Dude..in 1990 at the age of 25 I was constantly getting sore throats year round..my tonsils had white globs on them..my normal doctor was useless..go to an ear, throat and nose guy..I got my tonsils cut out in 90 and have not had a sore throat since
