Vent. Bros.: Looking back at Season 3 and forward to Season 4
Alright, Adult Swim just aired the Season Finale to Venture Bros., if you haven't seen it yet, don't read on until you've watched it here. There will be spoilers.
A lot of things happened in this episode. For one, Brock quit as both a member of the OSI and the Venture family's bodyguard. It will be interesting to see how the Ventures deal with The Monarch and their other foes now that they don't have Brock to fight them off anymore. At least they still have Orpheus. Speaking of Orpheus, where the f*** was he when all of this went down. I think both he and the Order of the Triad were criminally underused this season. So much time was spent on backstory that a lot of characters got short thrifted. For instance, Triana was only in two episodes this season, and only had a major speaking role in one. What made it even more frustrating was that she hinted that Dean's affection may not be totally unrequited, then wasn't heard from again. I hope that Season Four spends a little more time exploring inter-character relationships. I was generally surprised at who didn't make it through the episode alive. Now that I look back at it, 21 and 24 bragging about how they were unkillable was foreshadowing, but still, that was a shocking and violent death. I'm not nearly as sad to see Helper go, though. I'm really looking forward to Season four. Molotov Cocktease and Hunter Gathers will be fantastic villians, and I can't wait to see how Brock reacts to having to do battle both with his one true love and his former mentor. So what did you guys like or dislike about Season 3 and what are your predictions for Season 4? |

Since Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer have shown that they have no problem killing a major character or two, here is my ranking of the top ten characters most likely to die during the course of season four.
1. Hunter Gathers 2. Molotov Cocktease 3. Sgt. Hatred 4. 21 5. Phantom Limb 6. Pete White 7. The Alchemist 8. Jefferson Twilight 9. Billy Quizboy 10. Hank Venture Honorable Mention: The Pupae Twins, Dr. Mrs. The Monarch, Baron von Unterbite |

That's one of the reasons why I think Venture Bros. is the best show that has ever aired on Adult Swim. It's not just a bunch of abject randomness. It has well-developed characters that change over time and that exist in a fully realized world.
I love the Hell out of this show. |

I'm pretty sure 24 died once already, and 21 made a remark about how he saw him die.
I think Season 3 has had the funniest episodes. |

Also, yes, I think Season 3 has been the most solid season so far. There hasn't been a bad episode, and nothing even approached the awfulness of "Look Who's Coming to State Dinner" from Season 2. My one complaint is that almost every episode was devoted to developing backstory, at the expense of advancing the overall plot. |

Now that I think about it, it must have been the Pupae Twins who detonated the bomb that killed 24. I wonder if they'll get their comeuppance.

Yeah, I was confusing two events. They said that to the Venture Bros. and Monarch had said that he thought 24 had died in season 2 I think.
Anyways, my favorite Henchmen moment. |

Dr. Quymm Medicine Woman and The Buddy System are my two favorite episodes from this season. Brock's kid cracks me up
Can anyone figure out the identities of the Guild Tribunal from the first episode? only their silhouettes are shown. One looks like Warduke of D&D fame. Another silhouette looks like Wile E. Coyote with a feathered cap. this is from the guild of calamitous intent wiki page.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guild_of_Calamitous_Intent The Council of 13 A group of super-villains whose actual position in the Guild's hierarchy is unknown, though they seem to be high up. They seem to act as judges within the Guild, and were seen judging the Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend, providing video footage that was secretly recorded by the Guild for evidence. They quite literally move as a group, are only seen in shadow, and constantly argue with each other. They presided over the marriage ceremony of Dr. Girlfriend and the Monarch with the Soverign acting as a priest. One of the silhouettes appears to be that of Bugs Bunny dressed up as Julius Caesar. A different member bears an extreme resemblance to Prince Fleaswallow from the PaRappa the Rapper video game series. Another bears resemblance to the Wild Fop. One has the distinctive wheezy, raspy voice of Baron Silas Greenback, DangerMouse's archenemy. Two other members bear a resemblance to The Sewer Urchin and Die Fledermaus from the Tick cartoon series. Some other members of the council have resemblences to villains in the video in the Episode "Fallen Arches"
