When will we begin to see players released...?
Pretty straightforward.

How soon can Reid begin to trim the roster down? Does he have to wait until the season is over before he can starting cutting players....?

wow. I just looked and we didn't give Cassel or Jackson a signing bonus. Man we were cap rich back then. We gave Cassel a 10 million dollar roster bonus his first year instead.

It looks like we still owe Jackson guaranteed money unless the restructure of his contract changed it.

I know his signing bonus was paid to him up front. However, the signing bonus was not counted against the cap immediately..it was spread out over a number of seasons...hence my question..has all of Cassel's guaranteed money been counted against the cap already, or is there a cap hit, however small, for this year?

Note...Cassel should be shown the door as soon as possible, while minimizing and damage to next years cap.

When I think about what we've got out of our last 5 draft picks it enrages me. Especially, since 4 out of 5 were so high. Good chance that Jackson and Dorsey will be gone. Berry has been ok. Baldwin has done absolutely nothing, and Powe is TBD. **** you Scott!

I was worried about that too. He performed with Weiss & McDaniels so who's to say Reid couldn't make a serviceable QB out of him until whatever QB we draft this year is ready?
