Seattle will win the Super Bowl. 24-13
Reasoning?
The Patriots excel moving the ball via the short passing game. The Seahawks are the absolute best team I've ever seen at shutting down the short passing game. It's a nightmare matchup for New England's offense. The Patriots are really going to struggle to pick up 1st downs and the only thing Seattle struggles with (TE / seem routes) they'll have an entire two weeks to find an answer to Gronk (NE only advantage). Much like last year's Super Bowl, Seattle just represents a terrible matchup for Tom Brady. This isn't a bash on Brady, Seattle is just flat out ELITE against this type of offense. I have this game as not being all that close. 24-13. Russell Wilson Super Bowl MVP. Remember, you heard it here first. Brady will "struggle", but there is nothing he can really do about it. New England wasn't built to be successful against this type of defense. They struggled with Rodgers (to an extent) because Rodgers relies on extending plays and hitting big plays (something Seattle had to respect) leaving the middle of the field often wide open. Against New England, they are going to dare Brady to beat them deep and Brady won't be able to do it. Not because Brady is lacking, but because his team isn't built to win via home run balls. http://nesn.com/2014/10/scout-tom-br...rt-yardage-qb/ |

NE wins. 28-17. Brady will execute a flawless short game passing attack featuring his RB's while running Gronk as a decoy in the first half. This will be complemented with Blount pounding it up the middle. The TOP will heavily favor NE in the first half.
In the second half BB and Brady will open up the passing game and take their shots down the field with Gronk. Creating bigger running lanes for Blount and opening up the crossing routes. The score won't even remotely reflect the pounding Seattle is about to take. |

Pats corners can live on a island and take Seahawks WR's out of the game. Wilson will press trying to get that second ring and contract that would come with it. NE can and will run on Seattle. |

NE's offense is set up perfectly to score points on that Seattle D. NE wins by more than a TD.

He's certainly made a career out of playing like a below average quarterback in big games and being carried by Lynch and the defense.

I think he's up to it. And Wilson isn't expected to be Brady. He's expected to be Wilson. They feed off the defense and get more bold as the game goes on. And lovers of Alex should watch this game. They have three play makers at TE (and one of them is a gimpy Tony Mo...)

I agree with Hootie. I've felt that way before the playoffs began.

I see New England winning this one. It won't be a blowout but I suspect Seattle will never have a chance in the fourth quarter with the ball to tie or take the lead.

Yep, those 108 passing yards are why KC beat Seattle.
