Dexter McCluster heads to the CFL

Terrell Owens could be playing in Canada. For now, a former NFL player some 15 years younger than Owens is headed there.

The Toronto Argonauts announced on Monday that they have signed running back Dexter McCluster.

A second-round pick of the Chiefs in 2010, McCluster played both running back and receiver in the NFL. After four years in Kansas City, he spent two with the Titans and a portion of 2016 with the Chargers.

McCluster, a 29-year-old who did not play in 2017, generated 1,042 rushing yards and 1,993 receiving yards. He also racked up 1,554 kick-return yards and 1,388 punt-return yards, for a grand total of 5,977 all-purpose yards.

Perfect example of all the stupid picks in the 2nd round we've made. We love taking useless tweeners like McCluster and Turk McBride.

Javier Arenas, too slow to be a CB, too slight to be a saftey.

Kawika Mitchell, too slow for the OLB, too soft for the middle.

Mike Cloud - played like shit here; played okayish in NE.

Matt Blundin SUCKED.

Greg Hill...was he a first or 2nd rounder? He played like a 5th...

William Bartee - ZERO INTERCEPTIONS FOR HIS CAREER. Every swinging dick on this board has as many INTS as that guy. Except he STARTED AT CB FOR LIKE 3 YEARS.

Anyone remember Eddie Freeman? I mean, I remember his name from when he was drafted...but did he ever even come to town? Did he die in between draft and training camp? No one knows...

Meh, we haven't been god awful in the 2nd the past 10 years. McCluster and Arenas were ok, but they're not even close to the disasters Bartee and Cloud were. Bartee and Cloud were complete duds. Arenas and McCluster were solid on special teams, and decent role players. Sure, you want your 2nd round picks to be more than role players, but at least they contributed something.

Greg Hill 1st round number 25

Eddie Freeman took off his helmet in training camp busted it up one of our offensive lineman’s head and busted it open. Thanks Eddie. Should of been a criminal offense and should of did time for it. But unfortunately the police weren’t called. That’s only done in pickup games.

Pioli may have been the biggest asshole, but Lynn stiles was flat out incompetent. Disgustingly bad drafts during his time.

To be fair, he was waaaay worse with Vermeil than he was with Marty.

Wilson is a graduate of UCLA School of Law, class of 2015.

I guess now he is pretending to be a lawyer.

I'm sure he's better at that than he was at pretending to be an NFL TE.
