Oh, I'm sure he will, although I'd say it's a lock his feud's going to be with Orton and not Jericho. I doubt seriously they put the belt on Jericho tonight and back on Punk tomorrow. He's probably done as a title-holder, for a while at least. Although maybe there's some more HBK shenanigans on Raw.

Orton/Punk should be interesting, either way.

WCW ROAD WILD 2008 RESULTS

I stole'd these from elsewhere, but I found them to be quite informative.
  • Matt Hardy desperately breaks up pins like crazy to win the ECW scramble.
  • Pricele$$ beats Cryme Tyme via rollup, Afa Jr comes out after the match then they start following Orton around backstage
  • HBK beats Y2J to death, cries, then beats him some more
  • HBK then cuts a promo about how he's now apparently the Hulk
  • Trips buries THE Brian Kendrick pretty hard, then wins the WWE scramble with a second to go over Jeff Hardy
  • Orton and the Sloppy Seconds play the 4 Horsemen to CM Punk's Dusty Rhodes
  • Orton and the Sloppy Seconds also beat the hell out of Kofi Kingston, sealing the fact that they are indeed southern heels
  • Michelle McCool retained
  • Adamle announces a replacement will be had in the WCW scramble
  • Big Show comes out, shills for the WWE's favorite tax break, beats the hell out of Undertaker to defend Vickie Guerrero
  • Adamle choo-choo-chooses Jericho to replace Punk in the WCW scramble
  • Jericho comes out and inexplicably wins the WCW title. Batista loses again!

Sucks for Punk the way that went down. Seems an odd way to take the belt off of him.

HHH was at his egotistical worst that entire match. You really have to watch it to appreciate how badly he buried Kendrick.

The Silverback got screwed.

Despite the fact that none of the people that I wanted to win won, it was a very solid PPV, save for the HHH shenanigans.

Yeah, that's my beef. I don't care that he lost the title, and I think an Orton/Punk feud could be good if that's where they're going. But they made him look so damn weak. Jericho takes the beating of a lifetime yet manages to make it to the ring for the scramble. Whereas Punk gets attacked and kicked in the head, but can't make it out 45 minutes later to defend his own title. It's like Brodie Croyle booking. CM Punk, agile and fragile.
