Pretty much.

I heard Motorolas have a hard time connecting, other than that you should be good.

I have a question about the ability to load an operating system onto your PS3. Can you load any OS or does it only do certain ones. I'm hearing from a friend of mine that you can't use Windows, or MAC. I really didn't think you could do MAC, but I guess I would have thought you could still do Windows. I realize it's their main competitor's product, but didn't think it'd go that far. I figured it'd allow any system. Can you only load Linux and the others I have never used?

Also, if so...is it Sony that doesn't want Windows on PS3, or is it Microsoft not wanting their competitor using their product?

No clue on Mac OS but I highly doubt it. I know linix works and I have read something about XP and Vista being loaded on the system but really didn't care enough to investigate further. I guess it's cool that some other OS's can be loaded on a PS3 but I guess I just don't get the reason why.

You can hook up any bluetooth headset. I have two different Motorolas hooked up to mine, with no issues.

The thing is, get the instructions for the headset, and GOogle how to do it on the PS3, having step-by-step helps a lot, because it is not as easy as turning both on, you have to do a scan on the PS3 and usually hol down some kind of button on the blutooth to ge tit scanning at the same time.
Once it's set up, then it's just a matter of turning it on and going to your audio accessories menu, select ""audio devices, hilight the blutooth, push the triangle button to bring up the actions menu and press "connect"

Was looking into buying a headset for the hubby. But I've heard that some lose their charge after only 30 min's or so... that would just be a pain in the ass. Would need one that holds a charge for a couple of hours. Any suggestions on a high quality headset?

My Motorola holds for hours. Jabra makes good ones too. Read the packs or look online for user reviews or stats.

Actually, the official PlayStation one has some really good features and can be used with a cel phone, too. It claims an 8-hour battery life and got 4.5 out of 5 start reviews on Amazon...
