Pregame Damage control

At around 7 pm today this KC Chiefs football team will either be 8-4 or 7-5.

If it's the latter about 3/4 of you people will be ready to throw the team from the train along with the coach, GM and everybody else, but you won't see any fat lady singing. With 5 losses, 11-5 is still visible and the coach said about 6 weeks back that he guaranteed a 4 game winning streak would occur sometime this year. He knows his team so I'm holding him to that.

The way they were talking on the NFL channel the other night a couple of team could finish up with 12-4 records and not make the playoffs. The Chiefs being one of them. They were mostly talking about the Chiefs and Chargers. It would be a damn shame for that to happen. Sometimes maybe they should just take the best 12 teams regardless of league and have the playoffs. Hell the Patriots could be 8-8 and make the playoffs and the Chargers and Chiefs could both be sitting at 12-4 and 11-5 and one of them wouldn't make it.
