Rivers running to the sidelines whinning like a little baby is not a good sign. They will face better pass defences in the playoffs. Without Knight(?) slipping LT's yards would be -85. Still, he is having his best year and that is good enough to get Schotszie into the playoffs. If Marty let's his coordinators call the shots they'll be fine. Balanced in all three phases~

We Came from behind to put Cincy Away 49 to 41. We got beat up by KC and have not lost a game since. We lost to a decent Balt team 16 to 13 (In my opinion due to conservative coaching) But have pretty much beat up everybody else.

Being at the game last night and watching the Chiefs actually play a tough physical game and did better than the score shows. The Chargers are obviously really good, but what he said is true.... the Chargers kept the Chiefs in the game and Rivers didn't have much composure. 20-9 should have been 42-9... like we all know, that's what Marty does in December & January... keeps both teams in the game.

And FWIW, I wouldn't hang your hat on 12-2... Indianapolis is only 1.5 games behind that, and Chicago is 12-2.... so that should tell you something.

The thing about the Chargers this year is that when you shut down LT, Rivers will hurt you. When you shut down Rivers, LT carries the team. The only exception was the Raider game from a few of weeks ago when they were able to stop both LT and Rivers until the fourth quarter.

The Chargers are finding ways to win. I'm not going to prematurely call them a championship team but as the saying goes: championship teams find a way to win. The way the Chargers are playing, they are headed in that direction.
