This FF question deserves its own thread (lengthy)
I'm already pretty depressed regarding my RBs.
I've got McGahee, Selvin Young, Rudi Johnson and Kolby Smith. It's a deep league - 14 teams. So, what I planned on doing was asking for assistance in regards to trades. What I plan to do is list the other 13 guys' rosters in hopes there is some way you guys can iron out a deal with me. I understand if alot of you people don't read this because of its length. But, any help would be amazing. Okay, here's my team. Yargh! Butt Pirates! Big Ben, Schaub McGahee, SYoung, Rudi Johnson, Kolby Smith Fitzgerald, Santonio Holmes, Derrick Mason, DJ Hackett, Branch Cooley, Ben Watson Jeff Reed Pitt D The others: Beginners Luck Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady Ricky Williams, Earnest Graham, Deuce McAllister, Dunn Plaxico, Lee Evans, Muhammed Dallas Clark, Boss Rackers Oak D, Browns D GET IT Manning, JaMarcus Russell, Matt Ryan LT, Chris Johnson, Stewart Calvin Johnson, DeSean Jackson, Berrian, Javon Walker, Devin Thomas Zach Miller, Dustin Keller Janikowski Philly D Ramswin1 Warner, Bulger Portis, MJD, Rhodes, Perry Colston, Braylon, Burleson, Chris Henry Gates Nugent NYG D Buccaneers McNabbsty, VYoung Lewis, Barber, Mendenhall, Mike Bennett, Duckett Santana Moss, TO, Devin Hester, Drew Bennett Gonzo, Scheffler Crosby TB D Berenson's Bandits Favre, JT O'Sullivan Turner, Gore, Mo Morris, Freddy Taylor Welker, Driver, Sidney Rice, Kevin Curtis, Kevin Walter Witten Longwell JAX D, Dallas D Darge Team Rivers, Palmer Addai, Julius Jones, DeAngelo Williams, Watson, Felix Jones Bowe, VJax, Ocho Cinco, Porter Heath Miller, Olsen Josh Brown Buff D HARDBALLS Hasselbeck, Garcia Grant, Willie Parker, Forte, Betts Andre Johnson, Harrison, Stallworth, Randle El, Gaffney Owen Daniels Goskowski, Kris Brown Minny D Nuttin Fancy Brees Kevin Smith, Bush, Ronnie Brown, Slaton, Ray Rice, Chest Taylor, Pierre Thomas Moss, Marshall, Roddy White, Steve Smith Crumpler Carolina D, NE D Gloryhole Cutler, Delhomme Lynch, TJones, Norwood, Andre Hall Coles, Holt, Anthony Gonzo, Reggie Brown, Bryant Johnson LJ Smith, Donald Lee Vinatieri GB D Who's Laughing Now Romo, Edwards Maroney, Edge James, Fargas, Leon Washington Wayne, Galloway, Bruce, Engram, Ronny Curry Winslow Kaeding SD D, Balt D League Champs Eli Manning, Trash Jackson Westbrook, McFadden, Ahman Green, Torain Boldin, Chambers, Crayton, Hardy McMichael, Heap Graham Indy D, NYJ D Jim Garrard, Campbell LJ, AP, Chris Brown, Sproles Roy Williams, Jennings, Ward, Reggie Williams, Patten Vernon Davis Reed Seattle D, Chi D Suitable Hair Anderson, Pennington SJax, Jacobs, Lendale White, Brandon Jackson, Bradshaw Cotchery, Houshmanzadeh, Gage, Ginn Jr. Shockey Folk, Dawson Tenn D Normally I wouldn't go apesh*t in the 2nd week. But, between Ray Rice and McClain playing well and Selvin Young partying in an RBBC it's hard not to. The three teams I'm targeting is Suitable Hair, HARDBALLS, and Buccaneers. I know this is alot of information to soak up and I completely understand if nobody responds or can even think of any proposals. All help is appreciated. |

I'm really bad at constructing hypothetical trades. I am decent, however, at the waiver wire. I'd target Royal, obviously. Which Rbs are available? Like Tim Hightower or Sammy Morris.

This is a deep 14 team league. The waiver wire is very thin.
The best possible RB FA is Kevin Jones. |

Since you mentioned the possibility of trading Big Ben, Hardballs is probably the worst off at QB. Grant looks like he might have ongoing hamstring issues (making Brandon Jackson a buy low target). Personally, I'd wait a week or two to see if another QB goes down. IMO, you've got two top 14 QBs, which are valuable commodities.
How many players do you start? Hightower was an excellent pickup, btw. Seriously, let me know who's out there on the waiver wire. |

We start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1K, 1D
I will post waiver wire guys when I get off work. We don't have an add/drop. We have 5 pickups for the whole year. |

If you're dead set on getting RB help, I'd go after Forte or Grant (in that order). Garcia's injured and/or about to be benched and Hasselbeck has a bulging disc in his back. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3576807 Last edited by Skyy God; 09-10-2008 at 12:58 PM.. |

Here is a name that is being overlooked in alot of leagues: Steve Slaton.
