Pretty much this. I'm happy with this trade.

Stuck behind Nobody. Manningham & Williams had season ending injuries. Randy Moss was #2 behind Crabree. Moss was getting very few targets. There was a desperate need for a productive #2. Jenkins was just a lazy ass and didn't do anything to put himself on a pro football field.

Jenkins was stuck behind NOBODY. When you put Chad Hall into a playoff game, you are stuck behind NOBODY.

Your new WR is a turd, just like our new WR.

If you want to talk about most consistent, try Jamar Newsome with 4 receptions for 27 yards.

Avery has been suspect since before he got here. Speed merchant with questionable hands. I would love it if he panned out as a guy to take the top off defense. Not sure I am in the boat of picking him over the field at this point.

Avery is a 600-800 yard a year guy. He has proven it in his career. He should work easily.

Baldwin was gonna leave the team one way or another, so might as well take a chance on a guy who has the physical skills to fit the new scheme better. Best of luck to Jon on a legit Superbowl caliber team, and we can keep our fingers crossed that Jenkins change of environment is the wake up call he needs to put up or shut up. He can go home and actually get a real job, or play his ass off and live up to his physical potential.

I think Donnie Avery can do nicely. Get him going with the starters and see if we can finally start throwing to some receivers next game.

Pioli also organized a trade with former colleague Thomas Dimitroff, later the general manager of the Atlanta Falcons, that sent longtime Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez to Atlanta in exchange for a draft pick that brought Javier Arenas to the Chiefs.

Pioli was responsible for the hiring of Cassel and his back up Brady Quinn as quarterbacks. The Chiefs had the worst record in the NFL for interceptions (20) in 2012 (Cassel threw 12 and Quinn threw 8). The Chiefs had the worst record in the NFL in offensive passing.

Both Crennel and Pioli were fired at the end of the season with Pioli formally being fired January 4, 2013. Cassel was also unconditionally released.

During Pioli's term, more than half the Chiefs back office personnel left the organization including club president Denny Thum who was team president and had been with the organization since 1974

None of those games with Alex at QB if I'm not mistaken. Not saying this to suggest that he'll get better with Alex as much as to dispell the thoughts that Alex might have any kind of chemistry with him.

If he couldn't catch it when Alex loft it into his hands, what makes you think he'll do better with the missles that Kaep launches?

The difference is that Kaep's throws will break ribs when he lets it hit the numbers. I predict Baldwin goes on IR before the 53 cuts.
