What are his chances of making a full comeback? There was a gymnast from Auburn that had both of her Achilles tendons snapped last season. She was able to compete all season this year. I know gymnastics and football are different but is there A reason why he can't be in full form again. Gymnastics is very intensive too and requires good Achilles tendons.

After hearing about that girl, and knowing what I've been through over the last few years with my Achilles, I see no reason why he can't come back

My dad is a doctor, and I know no fewer than 17 people who had similar Achilles injuries to DJ. So I'm pretty much an expert.

I can say with near 100% certainty that from what I've heard and seen out of DJ's recovery this offseason, he definitely might recover from this injury.

Age is a big factor. Auburn girl was probably 19-20.

Also, Females tend To heal better all things being equal.

True. I also think that when you are in as good of shape as NFL players are, you tend to heal faster too.

Chad Johnson and his ACL tears.

I did not have to worry about playing in the NFL and my recovery has got me so I can run a little and do my job.
Heel spurs on both legs. Achilles intentionally cut so the spurs can be ground off.
Doc said intentionally cut is better than a tear, because it is smooth instead of a bunch of strands.
